Which banner material?
- PVC banner, standard — the everyday outdoor banner for fences, hoardings and shopfronts.
- Blockout PVC — a black core stops light and anything printed behind from showing through. For backdrops and double-sided hangs.
- Mesh PVC — perforated so wind passes through, for exposed hoardings and railings.
- PVC-free polyester — lighter, for venues that do not accept PVC.
Finishing
Trimmed edge, hot-sealed hem, eyelets at the four corners or all round (about one per metre, or as tight as every 200 mm), a sewn pocket for a pole, rope, or a combination. Double-sided is either two pieces sewn back to back, or a single-piece premium blockout with no seam.
How long it lasts
A PVC banner typically holds up for one to two years outdoors and around four years under cover, depending on sun and weather. Fasten every eyelet when you hang it — a banner flapping on half its fixings is the usual reason one tears early.
Sending artwork
Give us the finished width and height, where the banner is going and how it will be hung. If you want eyelets, leave about 50 mm of clear space around the edge of your artwork.
