Description
A backlit film poster is printed on translucent film made to sit in front of a light source. It is what goes into an existing light box or lit frame when you want to change the graphic without changing the hardware.
Getting it right
Density is the whole game. A file built for paper usually needs more light in the shadows once it is lit from behind, and a shallow light box will show hot spots if the print is too thin. Tell us what the frame looks like and roughly how deep it is.
Sending artwork
Send the visible opening size, not the outer frame size, and add a little bleed so nothing important sits at the edge where the frame overlaps.
