Description
Custom banners printed in Singapore, made to the size you actually need. Standard PVC banners run from 297 mm up to 3 m wide and 15 m long. Bigger than that and we print in panels and sew them into one piece, which carries the largest jobs well past 30 m.
Which banner material?
- PVC banner, standard — the everyday outdoor banner, square-textured and tough enough for fences, hoardings and shopfronts.
- Blockout PVC — a black core stops light and any print behind it from showing through. This is the one for backdrops and double-sided hangs.
- Mesh PVC — perforated so wind passes through, for exposed hoardings, railings and rooftop spans.
- PVC-free polyester — lighter and cleaner to dispose of, for venues and events that do not accept PVC.
Finishing
Trimmed edge, hot-sealed hem, eyelets at the four corners or all round (about one per metre, or as tight as every 200 mm), a sewn pocket for a pole, rope, or any combination of those. Double-sided is either two pieces sewn back to back, or a single-piece premium blockout so there is no seam.
Sending artwork
Give us the finished width and height, where the banner is going and how it will be hung. If you want eyelets, keep about 50 mm of clear space around the edge of your artwork so nothing important gets punched through. Not sure about any of it? Send what you have and we will work it out with you.
How long it lasts
A PVC banner typically holds up for one to two years outdoors and around four years under cover, depending on how much sun and weather it takes. PVC-free polyester is 610 gsm and just under a millimetre thick, and behaves about the same. Fasten every eyelet when you hang it: a banner flapping on half its fixings is the usual reason one tears early.
